Shaun (Simon Pegg) is stuck in a dead end job, his best friend Ed (Nick Frost) is a complete waste of space and is holding him back. His girlfriend is fed up with their relationship and dumps him, while feeling sorry for himself he fails to notice the dead people walking the streets.

I am not a huge fan of British films, but films with Simom Pegg in them are normally good and this is definitely a good one. Not only is it a good zombie film it's also a very good comedy. One of the best bits about this film is Simon Pegg and Nick Frosts characters taking so long to realize the people they encounter are actually zombies. There's a great cast of some of the best British comedy actors and they all do a great job of making this film work.

This film has been written by true zombie fans, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, this is clear by the amount of references to films such as Dawn of the dead and Night of the living dead. Only a true zombie film fan will pick up on all of these these.

Shaun of the dead has good acting, it's well written and directed, this is not just another slap stick comedy. This has a more intelligent style of humor which is appreciated.
